One step away from being Colombian

We know that as you become a resident in Colombia, new possibilities begin to emerge in the face of your new status in the country. If a part of you already feels Colombian and you want to take the next step to obtain nationality, you should consider the following information:
First, you must have completed between 1 and 5 years as a Resident visa holder, under the following conditions:
Latin American and Caribbean foreigners, one (1) year from the issuance of the Visa
Spanish, two (2) years from visa issue
Foreigners NOT Latin American and Caribbean or Spanish, five (5) years from the issuance of the Visa
Foreign national married or has a child (a) Colombian (a), two (2) years from the issuance of the Resident Visa
Now, keep in mind that for this process you must have at hand the following documents:
Your passport, Colombian visa and alien card must be valid.
A current document type photograph of face, front, white background. Size 4x5 cm in jpg format.
Letter of motivation
You must be clear about your occupation or source of income
And get ready to challenge all your knowledge about Colombia’s Political Constitution, history, geography of Colombia and Spanish.
