Meeting LARM family: Camila Lugo.
I’m Camila Lugo,
Globalization is key. I know this because in my thirty years, I have been almost five years away from my home country, even though I have already been three of those Christmases again in the land of coffee and vallenato. But in two of those years, I’ve been fortunate enough to work at LARM, Colombia, and that has made it clear to me how important it is to be in a truly global world.
During my time in college, I was taught how important it is to be part of the world. An international citizen is said out there, it is normal when studying International Relations and political studies, because behind the component of global culture and diplomacy, there is the human component. I really learned the latter when I was younger and at seventeen I had to join education in another country, in another language, with people very different from the one I had lived with during my childhood.
Migrating to another country is never easy, especially when you don’t know the language well and have nowhere to settle. That’s why I recognize the importance of LARM, since arriving in a new country to reside, is difficult but it is where the importance of the company lies and I noticed that when I worked as Innmigration Assistant during my first months in the company.
Currently I am dedicated to being Documentation Specialist and I take care of some of the cases of transferred professionals who must arrive in the country. This position has taught me how to gear all the machinery of the company to provide the best service, with the highest human quality to these people.
This is me, a global citizen and a member of the large LARM family, who day by day we work to make your transfer an easy, comfortable and efficient process. Recalls that:
LARM, your home away from home!
